A couple of months ago I woke up at about 5 AM…
I peered through the window to the site of a beautiful red sun rising through the mist…
I went downstairs onto the patio and breathed in the clear summer air…
It was then that I decided I was going to take a couple of months off…
That’s one of the things I love about being an Internet marketer…
It gives me the freedom to make a snap decision like this and take time off whenever I want…
For instance last year I spent more than six months in Thailand…
However this year I’m really enjoying being back in France and getting stuck into projects in the garden and around the house…
So what have I been doing?
I’ve been getting stuck into renovating some of the outbuildings we have here in the property in France…
I’ve converted one of the rooms in the barn into a workshop / YouTube Studio…
I’ve also converted another room in the barn into a storage room for all of our garden equipment such as lawnmowers…
And the other big project I’ve just started is building a 100% off grid solar system to power the house…
I’m documenting the entire process on my brand-new YouTube channel GridBusters…

But Am I Quitting Internet Marketing?Â
Okay a few people have asked why I have started this channel on YouTube…
I’ve even had some people email me and ask if I was quitting Internet marketing and doing YouTube now…
The simple answer to this is no….
For me the GridBusters YouTube channel is just a hobby…
I’m not expecting the channel to make me money…
Okay yes I suppose I could make money from this YouTube channel…
However it’s far easier for me to make money from affiliate marketing…
The cool thing is even though I’ve taken over 2 months off this summer…
My income has not dropped at all…
To be honest I find it really hard to sit in my office when the sun is shining and the weather is sweet…
This September has been very unusual, It’s been consistently in the mid-30s (95F)…
However next week the weather is meant to get back to normal…
I think the time has come for me to get back into the office…
To be honest I’m quite looking forward to it….
