2000 feet and climbing

There was a police helicopter directly in front of me but I couldn’t see it….

Then suddenly it came into vision over the horizon…

Where was I?

Flying over London, approaching the Olympic village and the O2…

You see on Saturday I was enjoying a one hour helicopter lesson…

Wow flying helicopters is such fun…

And this was the first time I had flown a helicopter over London!

I’m starting to get the hang of it now…

However I still need to get a few more hours in to perfect my hovering skills…

To be honest I don’t know whether I will ever get a full helicopter pilot’s licence…

For me it’s just a bit of fun….

And I love the thought that, technically I know how to fly a helicopter…

If the zombie apocalypse ever hit, I would be the designated helicopter pilot 🙂 🙂

I had a go pro camera in the cockpit for the full one-hour lesson…

Later in the month when I get the time I’ll edit the footage and stick it up on YouTube…

My instructor was absolutely brilliant…

He was really patient….

And explain things clearly….

But here’s the weird thing…

It turns out that he used to be a TV presenter…

As some of you may know back in the 1990s I worked in television as well…

And we worked out that we were probably both working at Teddington Studios at the same time…

Life is strange sometimes and full of coincidences!

I think next time I’m staying in London I might block book four a five helicopter lessons..

That way I can do a mini intensive course…

I think sometimes that’s the best way to learn something….

That is to immerse yourself in it….

That’s exactly what I did back in 2008 with Internet marketing….

I found a process that worked….

And then immersed myself in it…

Wow I can remember, I didn’t even go out or socialise for around three months…

Every spare scrap of time I had, I studied…

I remember for those three months I didn’t even watch any TV!

And I guess that’s why I won’t get a pilot licence…

If I really wanted to I could…

But it would mean I would have to immerse myself in the subject for three or four months…

After all there are about 10 written exams!

And the total cost would probably be around £25K, $35K!!

Flying helicopters is not cheap!

And to be honest I don’t want to learn how to fly that badly!

For me it’s just a hobby…

How to make high ticket affiliate sales using Amazon?

This Thursday I’m hosting a special live webinar with my good friend Christopher John Payne.

Chris is gonna show you how he is currently making affiliate sales using the Amazon platform!

The great thing is very few people are doing this…

This is a brand-new training that Chris has never done before…

And he’s agreed to share it on Thursday…

Go here to sign up for the webinar 🙂

I’ve known Chris for over 10 years now…

And he’s always on the cutting edge of learning new strategies and systems for making money on the Internet…

We’ll both be there live on Thursdays training with our web cams on…

And you will also get a chance to ask us any questions related to Internet marketing or Amazon…

Movies I’ve seen recently

Since I’m in London at the moment I’ve made the most of our local cinemas…

I’ve been seeing several films each week!

But something really weird happened over the weekend…

I was on my way back from my helicopter lesson and I decided to stop at Westfield shopping centre…

The cool thing about Westfield is I can charge my car for free!

And they also have a particularly good vegan fast food restaurant…

Whilst I was tucking into my vegan burger and chips…

I looked on my phone to see what movies were showing….

And to be honest most of the movies I had already seen…

Or they were the kind of movies that didn’t interest me….

So I decided to see a very low budget Irish movie!

The movie was called “Herself

The story was about a recently separated woman who is living on the breadline with her two children and decides to build her own house…

I guess the thing that sparked my interest was a woman building her own house!

Anyway, when I got into the cinema I realised I was the only one there and it was a Saturday night!

Wow I think this is the first time I’ve ever had a cinema to myself…

I was so taken back by the fact I was the only person in the cinema I took a photo, I’ve posted it on my Facebook profile…

So I took my shoes off and literally put my feet up and enjoyed the movie…

I have to say it wasn’t an absolutely brilliant film, but definitely worth watching…

I wouldn’t recommend you pay to see the film or buy the DVD…

But well worth watching once it’s online and you can stream it….

Have a great week whatever you’re doing,
