Chatting to tech billionaires

Three weeks ago I was in San Francisco having great fun zipping around the streets on one of those new electric scooters from the company skip which you can rent.

This is a great alternative to taking a cab, and apparently they’re coming to London soon!!

One of the most interesting things I did whilst I was in San Francisco was visit Silicon Valley.

As well as visiting the computer Museum and the Google campus one of the more interesting things I saw was the Facebook sign.

If you walk around to the back of the sign you’ll see it says Sun Micro Systems.

Mark Zuckerberg decided to recycle the old sign…

not to save money,

but as a kind of reminder to everybody who works at Facebook…

If you don’t innovate and keep up with the times…

You might end up being overtaken by a rival or go out of business…

While I was in Silicon Valley also attended a meet up about self driving cars…

It was really cool being in the heart of Silicon Valley…

  • Chatting to CEOs…
  • Computer programmers..
  • And tech billionaires about the next big technology to hit the world, self driving cars

Pacific Coast Highway in 12 hours…

After a few days in San Francisco I hired a car and drove down the Pacific Coast Highway to LA..

WOW it ended up taking 12 hours!!

I ended up staying in Orange County which is very close to LA.

The thing I loved about Orange County was I started each morning off with a swim in the sea!!

This is a great way to start the day…

And then in the afternoon I would do a couple of hours work on my laptop…

I guess you could call this the laptop lifestyle…

This is all possible because I have an email database…

The great thing about email marketing is it gives you location independence…

Listen I would love to teach you the secrets to email marketing…

So that you can have an automated income

And give yourself location independence…

The 2°C/35°F Swim

When I got back to London I was really keen to carry on with my early morning swim.

So I did a search and discovered that there is an open-air swimming pool just down the road from me in London.

The Brockwell Lido and it is open from 6.30 in the morning…

Now the big problem was the temperature difference between London and LA in April..

However I was determined to go for a swim that first morning.

Boy oh boy was it cold, in fact the thermometer in the car red 2°C/35f!!

This was the first time I’ve ever swam and been able to see my breath over the water…

However I discovered this is an amazing cure for jetlag!!

I kept this up for four days after I got back which I’m quite proud of…

Currently I am in France and there are no swimming pools nearby…

However next week I will be back in London and I will carry on with my early morning swim.

This really sets you up for the day…

Must go now,

All the best,
